Meet our Pastor
Dr. Jeremy Gates
Sr. Pastor
Dr. Jeremy Gates and his wife, Kristin, are invested in building relationships to bring people to dynamic life in Christ! Pastor Jeremy has served in ministry for over 30 years, and has a passion for teaching the Word of God in an engaging and understandable way. He has been Senior Pastor of Cave Spring Baptist Church since October of 2022. Pastor Jeremy was licensed in 1983 and ordained in 1999. He is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University with a B.A. degree (1997) and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Music degree (1999) and a Ph.D in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University (2013). Pastor Jeremy and Kristin have one grown daughter, Miranda, one spoiled rotten dog, Zona, and one cat who rules the roost, Nacho.
From August of 2020 to October 2022, Pastor Jeremy and his family had the opportunity to travel America in their RV and do ministry outside the walls of the church. Along the way, they made life-long memories, met some amazing people, worshiped with believers all over the nation, and saw so many beautiful parts of God's creation. The collage of pics to the left are just some of the places traveled.

Building relationships is a huge deal to us! It's part of our mission: connecting people to others so we can all experience a dynamic life in Christ. One of the ways we foster relationships is to gather in our Cave Spring Cafe previous to our worship services. A relaxing and warm atmosphere is created for fellowship. When you come and worship, get here early so you can enjoy a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or hot tea and some "munchies". You will meet some of the best people on the planet!
What to Expect
At Cave Spring you'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual atmosphere by people who are excited to see you. Every Sunday morning our cafe opens at 10:30 so come and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot tea, meet some new friends, and worship with us!
